Deoudoné Pretorius is a passionate South African actress building her career across both local and international markets.
She studied Drama and completed three years of Musical Theatre & Dance training, gaining exposure to multiple dance styles and physical performance techniques—skills she continues to incorporate into her screen work.
Her professional journey began in 2020 when she was cast as Stella for kykNET’s 21st birthday campaign.
This role made her the face of several kykNET campaigns, including *Stella Kom Kuier*, *Stella Stemme*, and *’n Ster vir Kersfees*, as well as voice-over work.
Since then, Deoudoné has developed a growing portfolio in Afrikaans television, appearing in kykNET productions such as *Getroud Met Rugby*, *Binnelanders*, *Diepe Waters*, and launching the gameshow *Koppestamp*.
Her film credits include Showmax productions *Horisonne* and *Troukoors*, the lead role in Forum Films' *Die Val*, and the series *De Kleine Griet*.
She has also expanded into English-language and international projects, working for Disney South Africa, two Tubi films (*Invasive 2: Getaway* and *Take-Out*), and the Norwegian feature *Den Fremmede* directed by Eiric Svensson.
Upcoming releases include roles on Netflix series and films directed by Mairzee Almas (*Shadow and Bone*, *The Sandman*, *Outlander*).
Driven by curiosity and passion, Deoudoné is dedicated to continually growing her craft.
She regularly upskills through stunt training, dance, and outdoor performance work, preparing for physically demanding and dynamic roles.
