Jurgen Romario Mc Ewan
Graduated with a degree in BA Theatre and Theatre Studies from the University of Stellenbosch.
Jurgen is no stranger to the world of theatre with his professional debut in 2017 under direction of theatre legend Marthinus Basson in Die Gangsters by Dr Benn De Haek.
Multiple award winning and nominated at variety of festivals led to his biggest achievement in kiddies shows winning best physical theatre show in 2017.
He also starred in the well known playwright by Adam Small Krismis van Map Jacobs since 2018 leading to him playing the lead character Map in 2022 and 2024.
In 2018 he made his first film appearance playing the lead in Kloof under the instruction of KykNet's Silwerskermfees.
In 2019 Jurgen journeyed his way through a variety of community theatre shows under Sp(i)eel and later on started Facilitating, Writing and Directing shows under WOW-Kunste scholar productions.
Jurgen is no stranger to Television series, telenovela's and talk shows.
More known for his roles in Sara Se Geheim (Jakob), Projek Dina (Thulani), and Arendsvlei (Clem Pekeur), Disa Straat (Shaun).
Currently working as a Mentor, Director, Writer and Content Creator of UNI Youth Cooperative related projects.
Already known for Multiple theatre shows he is also known for his voice-over-artist work at Overklank with his stellar performance and voice work of Selim in Elif and many more.
His most recent work includes that of Stompie in Spinners and Stil Piet on the Telenovela Kelders van Geheime.
