Sanchia Davids
South African actress Sanchia Davids stems from a family of theatre practioners and was thus taught from a young age to hone her acting skills.
In 2015, still a student at the University of Cape Town, she was chosen to partake in a Cross-Culture Week which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany where she was challenged with her acting, dancing and singing skills.
She came to prominence with her performance as Aunty Maud in Adam Small's -Krismis van Map Jacobs at Artscape Theatre, directed by Andre Samuels.
The same year she performed in Liefde is Rooi, directed by Lee-Ann van Rooi.
Other works include Onder die Brug directed by Dean van De Ventel.
She has further toured with Cape Heart Company and their Krismis van Map Jacobs Nothern Cape Tour since 2017.
She has performed on local and international screens, most recently as Lucretia in KykNet Storie Films- Tweede Skoot and Discovery's, American Monster.
Her voice work spans over many characters for E-TV's Kuiertyd namely Elif as Zeynep Simsek, Ramo as Afet and Golden Boy as Sultan.
