Zak Hendrikz
Zak achieved a National Diploma in Musical Theatre at Tshwane University of Technology.
Professional Musical Theatre highlights include LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Fleur de Cap and Naledi Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor) STARLIGHT EXPRESS, ASPOESTERJTIE, FOOTLOOSE, GREASE (International Tour), HAIR, ROCK OF AGES, INTO THE WOODS (Naledi Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor) and his last musical was seen as Eddie and Dr Scott in the World Tour of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW.
Theatre includes EEN (1) sponsored by KKNK and Aardklop, AFRICAN GOTHIC, MYSTERIOUS SKIN, DALLIANCES and the theatre adaptation of the book I HAVE LIFE (Naledi Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor).
Film and TV include THYS EN TRIX, ALISON the Documentary, BAKGAT 3, LEON SCHUSTER'S MR BONES 2, TREMORS 5 (Universal Pictures), DIE BYL 2, ELKE SKEWE POT, LAUGH OUT LOUD 5, MY PERFECT FAMILY, BEDFORD WIFES and the Netflix original series SHADOW.
He featured in the film adaptation of BALLADE VIR 'n ENKELING and more recently in e.tv's BLOEDHOND.
Zak was also seen in the local soapies BINNELANDERS (Eben), GETROUD MET RUGBY (JJ Papenfoes), 7de Laan (Werner Visagie and currently plays Du Toit Fourie in e.tv's new Afrikaans soapie KELDERS VAN GEHEIME.
Hendrikz also produced four short-films and four theatre pieces in the past five years under his production company PIT Productions.
These films include DIE KUUR, DIE INLVOED, VAN NASIONALE BELANG and HAATKLOP (co-producer).
PIT'S theatre pieces include WILLEM POPROK, DONKER WEB, HOOPVOL (Naledi Award Nomination for Best Theatre for Young Audiences) and ASEM (Naledi Award Nomination for Best Esemble).
