Jaco studied his craft at Stellenbosch University finishing his degree in 2013 and his Honors Degree in Acting in 2014.
Since then he has appeared in a few short-films most notably 'Kleingeld' and 'English Made Simple'.
He has done commercials for the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, and China, to name a few.
The stage is his first love and he has been part of shows such as 'Hooked on Books' and 'Boek Buddies'.
In 2019 he made his full-length film debut in Moffie.
