Nonjabulo Jennifer Kubheka is a multifaceted artist with a rich background in theatre, voice-over work, visual art, poetry, and photography. Classically trained in theatre production at the prestigious National School of the Arts (2017-2019), Nonjabulo graduated in 2019 with a strong foundation in the performing arts. Her versatility extends beyond theatre, as she has explored various artistic mediums such as culinary arts, music, voice work, dance and movement. In 2021 and 2022, Nonjabulo ventured into radio productions and voice-over work, collaborating with prominent brands such as Urban Brew Studios, ABSA, and Standard Bank. Her voice brought characters to life in youth radio dramas broadcast across Central and West African countries. In 2023, Nonjabulo's talent was recognized through the ACT Nyoloha Scholarship program, where she became a finalist under the mentorship of Zolani Shangase and Samantha Peo. This achievement led to an automatic audition and subsequent acceptance into the Market Theatre Laboratory's full-year course, secured through a fully paid scholarship for 2024. Throughout 2023 to early 2024, Nonjabulo performed in productions for notable brands like Nedbank and Hollard. As a student at the Market Theatre Laboratory in 2024, she took part in various productions, shadowed different departments, and honed her skills in lighting and sound, directing, physical theatre and mime, facilitation, and stage management. She then landed a lead role as a Matriarch in the main student production 'Afropocalypse,' showcasing her range and depth as a performer." Nonjabulo continues to push boundaries in the arts, inspiring audiences with her creativity and passion, expanding and growing more as a creative. Sky is the limit for her.
